The Onboarding Wizard (New Accounts Only)

First-time users are walked through a short setup wizard. It only appears once, on your first login.

Step 1 — Your Name

What should we call you? Optional. Click Skip to continue.

Step 2 — Your Product

Paste your product homepage or product page URL — the platform auto-extracts a description. Or type one manually. Skippable, but completing it significantly improves every AI output.

Step 3 — Your Target Industry

Select one industry from 10 options. The AI uses this to tailor persona behavior and buyer language. Skippable.

Step 4 — Your Biggest Sales Challenge

Select one from 7 options (e.g., objection handling, competitive deals, shortening the sales cycle). Skippable.

Step 5 — Choose Your Personas (Required)

Select exactly 3 buyer personas from the full catalog. These are the AI buyers you'll practice against and generate content for. This step cannot be skipped.

Tip: Choose personas that reflect your actual target accounts — every session and document is tailored to the personas you select.

Step 6 — Summary

Review your selections and click Start Practicing.

Your Quick Start

After completing the onboarding wizard, you'll see the Your Quick Start panel — a 3-card guided sequence that gets you to value fast.

Setting Up Product Context

Product context personalizes every AI output — sessions, buyer intel docs, messaging playbooks, slide decks, and emails all reflect your specific product when context is set.

Product context is set within each tool the first time you use it. When you open any content generator or practice session, you'll see a product input field where you can:

  1. Paste your product homepage URL and click Extract — the platform pulls your product name, description, and key value props automatically
  2. Or type a product description manually

Once saved, that context is used across all tools in your session.

Note: There is no central Product Context settings page. Context is managed at the tool level and auto-loaded from your saved contexts each time you use a tool.

Selecting and Changing Personas

Personas are the foundation of BIA. Every session, document, and piece of content is tailored to the 3 personas you choose.

To select or change your personas:

  1. Return to the home screen (click the ← back button from any session view)
  2. Your current personas are shown as cards on the home screen
  3. Use the persona grid to browse and select different personas

Persona types available include roles across:

  • C-Suite (CEO, CFO, CIO, CMO, CRO)
  • VP and Director level (Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT)
  • Manager and Practitioner level
  • Multiple industry verticals
Tip: Match your personas to your actual pipeline. If you sell to CFOs at mid-market SaaS companies, select the CFO persona and set your industry to SaaS during onboarding.

Profile Settings

Click the ⚙️ Settings button in the top navigation to open your Profile Settings.

The settings panel contains one option:

I'm at an early stage (checkbox) — "Tools adjust prompts for founders without a website, case studies, or lots of content yet. Uncheck once your company has matured."

Your First Session

Once setup is complete, run your first practice session:

  1. From the home screen, click any persona card
  2. In the left sidebar, select the Simulate hub
  3. Choose a session type:
    • Cold Call — practice opening a cold conversation
    • Discovery Call — run your discovery framework against an AI buyer
    • Objection Drill — the AI opens with a real objection; handle it
    • Objection Prep List — generate a list of likely objections before a live call
    • Demo Prep — practice a product demo with an AI buyer who asks questions and raises concerns
  4. Click Start
  5. The AI plays the buyer — type your responses as you would speak them on a real call
  6. Review the session debrief when you finish

Credit cost: 1 credit per message (live sessions). Objection Prep List costs 1 credit per generation.
