AI-IQ Systems, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates Buyer Intel Accelerator at getbuyerintel.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02 Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you register via email or Google OAuth
- Profile and onboarding data: Your industry, role, target personas, sales challenges, and product descriptions you enter during onboarding or setup
- Product context: URLs, uploaded documents, and product descriptions you provide to personalize AI-generated content
- Uploaded content: Documents, transcripts, and files you upload for coaching or context features
- Payment information: Processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card or payment details on our servers
- Communications: Messages you send to our support team
Automatically Collected Information
- Usage data: Features used, tools accessed, AI generation requests, and interaction patterns
- Session data: Chat sessions, saved outputs, and bookmarked insights stored to your account
- Device and log data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, access times, and referring URLs
- Analytics: Page views and feature interactions via Google Analytics (GA4)
03 How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and personalize the Service, including AI-generated content tailored to your product and target personas (legal basis: contract performance)
- Manage your account, credits, and subscription (legal basis: contract performance)
- Process payments via Lemon Squeezy (legal basis: contract performance)
- Improve the Service, AI prompt quality, and persona accuracy (legal basis: legitimate interest)
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries (legal basis: legitimate interest)
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, credit alerts, billing notifications) (legal basis: contract performance)
- Send product updates and feature announcements — you may opt out at any time (legal basis: consent)
- Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and ensure platform security (legal basis: legitimate interest)
- Comply with applicable legal obligations (legal basis: legal obligation)
04 Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (see Section 5)
- Payment processing: Lemon Squeezy, as Merchant of Record, receives information necessary to process your payment
- Team managers: If you are part of a team account and opt in to share coaching reviews with your manager, those reviews are visible to the designated manager in your organization only
- Legal requirements: If required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. You will be notified of any such change
05 Third-Party Services
We work with the following trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing data usage:

06 AI Processing
Content you submit — including product descriptions, uploaded documents, and conversation inputs — may be processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Google) to generate your requested outputs. These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Important: Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential proprietary information beyond what is necessary for the Service, or any data subject to strict regulatory restrictions (e.g. HIPAA-protected health information) through the platform.
07 Data Security and Retention
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
- Row-Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, ensuring users can only access their own data
- JWT authentication on all protected API endpoints
- We do not store payment card information on our servers
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
- Account data is deleted within 30 days of a verified account deletion request
- Saved AI outputs, sessions, and bookmarks are retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure
- Cached documents (buyer intel, Redis-stored content) expire per plan and usage policies, typically within 90 days of account closure
- Payment and billing records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial law
- Server and access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes
08 Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to:
- Maintain your authentication session
- Remember your preferences and persona selections
- Preserve in-progress work (e.g. active chat sessions)
- Collect anonymized analytics via Google Analytics
By continuing to use the Service, you consent to our use of analytics cookies as described above. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Service. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals by disabling analytics collection for users who have DNT enabled.
09 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain data processing activities, including marketing communications
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time

- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights

10 Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
11 International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.
12 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
